Gallery Games VIP Private View

The Games commence! On the 1st August 2012 from 6.30 to 9pm the black carpet comes out for a themed exhibition presenting works by the Debut Artists, inspired by victorious characters, cultural celebrations and sporting events happening in London during 2012, at this years' Gallery Games Private View. Featuring a hybrid of talented contemporary artists based both in the UK and internationally, this weekly rotating exhibition encourages if nothing else, an element of play.
Guests will be invited to partake in fun and games whilst previewing freshly created artworks with summer cocktails and lively music.
The Debut Artists put you through your paces with a marathon show of works from various perspectives on the theme in relation to the Olympics devised in collaboration between Debut Contemporary in-house curator, Eva Kubíčková Piña Rodrigues, alongside independent, former Tate Modern public programmes curator, Sara Raza, who was recently selected to offer her opinion for Saatchi Online's 100 CURATORS 100 DAYS which launched on 18th July.
The Gallery Games exhibition will change on a weekly basis presenting five different angles on the topic, inspiring a programme of events, including talks, performance, games and even a Pecha Kucha event where the Debut Artists will present themselves in 20 seconds with 12 images. This will also carry forward in the live collaboration programme supporting Peace One Day for The Art Dinner, an invitation only dinner series recently launched at gallery.
Please email RSVP@debutcontemporary.com to confirm your attendance.
