Statement

Lily Bertrand-Webb graduated from Arts Institute at Bournemouth, UK, in 2011 with a BA Fine Art Photography degree. Born and bred in London, she currently works as a freelance photographer. She produces images that appeal to human emotions and structures of feelings. The warm lighting and colour of her prints gives them the added level of complexity and beauty creating an abstract ‘pool’ of visual ambiguity. There is a sense of formal harmony between the shapes, light and colour that conveys emotional and poetic power within her photographs. All her work is purely film.
