Statement

Born on 30 April 1977, in the city of MIramar, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Sebastián Oholeguy initially came into contact with the world of arts through drawing and sculpture in 1996, in the city of Ponce, Puerto Rico. By the end of 1997, he returned to Argentina and joined the school of arts and trade of APAND in the city of Mar del Plata, province of Buenos Aires. There he learned carpentry. At the same time, he studied cabinetmaking with the cabinetmaking Ernesto Flota, who taught him he skill of bas-relief and sculpture. In the year 2000, he started his arts studies in the school of Arts in the city of La Plata, capital of the province of Buenos Aires, obtaining then the degree of bachelor of Plastic Art and doing a sample of his series “ Significant Monologs”. In the 2006, he moved to Florida, U.S. where his work was incorporated into private collections. At present he lives in London, UK.
